Bhagwan Swaminarayan had instructed him to focus on imparting spiritual knowledge to all. So, in Junagadh and wherever he travelled, he constantly gave spiritual discourses, which included explaining the supreme glory of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. His talks, compiled and known as the Swamini Vato, were perceptive, candid and full of practical counsel. However, the most important reason they were effective, stirring aspirants of all backgrounds to spiritual action, was that he lived what he preached.
