The Akshar Amrut series is a set of eight textbooks aimed at helping children learn Gujarati from the basics of the alphabet right through to GCSE Gujarati and beyond, in an engaging, easy-to-follow manner. As students’ progress through each textbook, they thoroughly develop their four language skills through various mediums, becoming more fluent and proficient as they complete each textbook. All books are supplemented with fun and interactive resources which makes learning Gujarati fun and enjoyable.
The focus of Akshar Amrut 3 is for students to start developing their reading and writing skills, for which they are taught the vowels to complement the alphabet learnt earlier. Alongside, 300 words of vocabulary are added to their language bank allowing students to build upon their firm basis in the basics of language.
