The Akshar Amrut series is a set of eight textbooks aimed at helping children learn Gujarati from the basics of the alphabet right through to GCSE Gujarati and beyond, in an engaging, easy-to-follow manner. As students’ progress through each textbook, they thoroughly develop their four language skills through various mediums, becoming more fluent and proficient as they complete each textbook. All books are supplemented with fun and interactive resources which makes learning Gujarati fun and enjoyable.
Through Akshar Amrut 2, students gain their first writing practice by learning the alphabet, the numbers from 1 to 20 and by adding approximately 80 simple words to their vocabulary. The material is generally presented through interactive worksheets and activities to ensure such essential knowledge remains unforgettable.
